The Vent-Axia Lo-Carbon Sentinel Kinetic CWH R SELV is a mechanical ventilation with heat recovery unit designed with an integrated white cooker hood canopy for kitchen installations.

This right-hand SELV model combines whole-house heat recovery ventilation with a practical built-in cooker hood, making it ideal for new build properties, apartments and energy-efficient homes where ventilation performance and space-saving installation are both important.

The unit is designed to fit within a 600mm wide aperture above a hob and can be connected using horizontal, vertical or combined ducting options. When the cooker hood is opened, the MVHR unit automatically switches to boost speed, while the summer bypass opens to help prevent cooking by-products from entering the heat recovery cell.

The cooker hood includes two removable flat metal grease filters, low energy light bulbs, an integral fire damper and a thermal cut-out fuse for additional safety. As an SELV version, it allows the clearance above an electric hob to be reduced from 650mm to 550mm, making it useful for kitchen layouts where installation space is limited.
