Description

The S&P TD-500/150-160 SILENT In-Line Fan is an ultra-quiet mixed-flow duct fan designed for residential and light commercial ventilation systems. It can be connected to either 150mm or 160mm circular ducting, with an additional rubber gasket supplied for 160mm installations. Its low-profile construction makes it suitable for ceiling voids and other confined installation areas.

The three-speed motor provides airflow rates of 350m³/h, 450m³/h and 550m³/h, allowing the fan’s performance to be selected according to the ventilation requirements of the system. At maximum speed, it delivers approximately 152.8l/s while maintaining a sound pressure level of 27dB(A) at three metres.

The fan casing incorporates sound-absorbent insulation and a specially designed internal lining that directs sound waves towards the acoustic material. Rubber seals at the inlet and outlet help absorb vibration and provide an airtight connection with the adjoining ductwork.

For easier installation and servicing, the connection box can be rotated through 360°, while the motor-body assembly can be removed without disconnecting the ductwork.
