Product Overview

The S&P SILENT-100 CHZ is a quiet-running 100mm axial extract fan designed to remove humid, stale air from bathrooms, toilets, en-suites and other small domestic spaces. It is suitable for wall or ceiling mounting and connects to standard 100mm circular ducting.

An integrated electronic humidistat automatically activates the fan when the relative humidity rises above the selected level. The humidity setting can be adjusted between 60% and 90% RH, helping the fan respond automatically to moisture generated through showering, bathing and other everyday activities.

The adjustable run-on timer allows the fan to continue operating after the humidity has fallen below the selected level or after the connected switch has been turned off. This helps remove remaining moisture and odours from the room.

The motor is mounted on specially designed silent elastic blocks that absorb vibration and reduce the transmission of noise into the surrounding wall or ceiling. The fan also includes an operation indicator and automatic back-draught shutter, which helps prevent outside air from entering when the fan is switched off.
