UK-manufactured rectangular ducting horizontal 45° bend is built from high-quality plastic, ensuring durability and optimal airflow performance for domestic and commercial ventilation systems. This rigid plastic bend allows for efficient ducting around obstacles, along walls, and into ceilings, outperforming flexible alternatives.
Key Features:
✔ Premium Quality – Manufactured from durable, high-grade plastic for long-lasting use.
✔ Smooth Airflow Performance – Reduces airflow resistance compared to flexible ducting.
✔ Low-Profile Design – Designed for concealed installation inside ceilings, floor slabs, and above kitchen wall units.
✔ Multi-Purpose Use – Ideal for kitchen extractors, MVHR, air conditioning, and HVAC systems.
✔ Building Regulation Compliant – Meets Part F Building Regulations for superior airflow efficiency.
Compatibility
This horizontal 45-degree rectangular duct bend is compatible with leading ventilation brands, including:

Performance & Installation
- Rigid ducting offers higher airflow efficiency compared to flexible ducting alternatives.
- Easy to install using plastic ducting sealant and aluminium duct sealing tape for a secure and airtight fit.
- Alternative Installation – Self-sealing fittings reduce installation time by up to 70% and allow easy dismantling when needed.
Insulation & Condensation Prevention
To prevent condensation, ducting installed in unheated areas (e.g. lofts) must be insulated with a minimum of 25mm insulation (thermal conductivity of 0.04W/m·K or less).
- If no loft space is present, intake and exhaust ducts should still be insulated using 25mm rockwool duct wrap with a foil face.
- Foil bubble wrap insulation is no longer compliant with building control regulations.
