Product Overview

The S&P ECOAIR SLC is an energy-efficient 100mm centrifugal extract fan designed to provide continuous decentralised mechanical extract ventilation in bathrooms, toilets, utility rooms and other small domestic spaces.

During continuous operation, the fan runs at an adjustable low trickle speed to provide a consistent level of background ventilation. A separate external switch or light switch can be used to activate the fixed high-speed boost setting when additional extraction is required.

The unit can also be configured for intermittent operation, where it runs at a speed selected during installation whenever the connected switch is activated. This provides flexibility for both continuous dMEV and conventional demand-controlled applications.

Its forward-curved centrifugal impeller is powered by a low-energy DC motor mounted on vibration-absorbing silent elastic blocks. This helps the fan maintain quiet operation while providing improved performance against the resistance created by ductwork.

The ECOAIR SLC includes a removable and washable inlet filter, which helps protect the internal fan components from dirt. A back-draught shutter is supplied for use when the fan is configured for intermittent operation. The fan is suitable for wall or ceiling mounting and connects to standard 100mm ducting.
