Models

The Thermover range is available in 4 models and 4 versions, designed to suit various usage conditions and flow rate requirements.

• First: Self-regulating, plug & play, Modbus RS485 networked station with a reversible thermodynamic system for energy-efficient operation and indoor air quality control via CO₂ sensors.
• Premium: Same as First, but includes an electric battery for precise heating and intake temperature control in external temperatures as low as -15°C.
• Must: Includes the First features along with an integrated hydraulic kit for ECS production in all seasons.
• Genius: Includes all Premium features plus an integrated hydraulic kit for year-round ECS production.

Filtration

The Thermover units come equipped with F7 opacimetric filters to ensure efficient filtration of both supply and extract airflows.

Construction

• Composed of 3 modules: 2 ventilation modules (with fan motor and filter) and a central module combining all energy recovery and thermodynamic functions for heating and cooling.
• Aluminium construction with polyamide thermal break space and double skin panels (10/10e).
• External face: Pre-lacquered RAL 7035 metal with protective film.
• Internal face: Galvanised steel for durability.
• Rectangular connections for simple, secure fastening to the aluminium structure.
• Fast and easy access via screw-secured panels.
• Technical compartment with hinged doors and screws for easy maintenance.

Motors

• Direct current high-efficiency plug fan with electronic commutation (EC) technology for reduced energy consumption and improved control.
• Integrated thermal overload and variable speed protection for enhanced reliability.
• Low noise levels ensure superior acoustic comfort.
• Fans are equipped with a pressure transmitter for fault detection.

Exchanger

• Certified Eurovent high-efficiency aluminium rotary exchanger with variable speed and a drain section for improved energy recovery.
• Slide rails for easier removal and maintenance of the exchanger.
• Rotation detector to indicate the proper functioning of the motor and timing belt.

Insulation of Ductwork

We recommend using Metal Spiral Ducting for superior strength and airtightness. For the best performance:

• Self-sealing fittings or a combination of Duct Sealant and Aluminium Duct Sealing Tape should be used to ensure a robust joint.
• Ensure ducting in cold areas (e.g., loft spaces) is insulated with 25mm thick insulation to prevent condensation.
• If no loft space is available, use insulated ducting for the intake and exhaust legs to prevent air temperature discrepancies.
• Note: Bubble wrap is no longer compliant with building control regulations.

The Caladair Thermover is compatible with a variety of ducting options, and a full range of controllers, sensors, silencers, and valves is available for complete installation.
