The Nuaire MRXBOXAB-ECO2B-1Z consists of the ECO2 MVHR unit, attenuators and flexible duct connectors entirely encased in an all-in-one aesthetically pleasing acoustic enclosure
This kit provides significant reduction in cased-radiated noise
The ECO2B-1Z provides a maximum flow rate of 288m3/hr suitable for a house up to 172 m2 floor area with up to 5 kitchens & bathrooms
Controllability is provided by an internal humidity sensors and optional room sensors or switches
(no digital controller is available for this model)

MRXBOXAB-ECO2B-1Z - The 1Z is the all-in-one acoustic enclosure, allowing in the MVHR unit and attenuator to be entirely cased in an aesthetically pleasing model which encloses the attenuators and flexible duct connections that would otherwise be visible, all whilst making significant reduction in cased-radiated noise.
The Nuaire unit has a internal humidity sensors that can provide a superior demand-controlled ventilation solution for your property
When the unit senses that the humidity exceeds the set point the unit will boost to that set by the commissioned boost speed. The humidity can be set on the front of the unit
We also advise an optional boost switch should be used local to the wet rooms
Filtration
2 x G4 filters are fitted to the unit that are easy and inexpensive to replace
(The filters are provided with plastic covers that should be removed before starting unit for first time)

This unit has a high-quality PVC counterflow heat exchanger with up to a 90% thermal efficiency protected with high-capacity filters on each side
The heat exchanger is easy to remove for maintenance and any accumulated condensation is easily dispersed via a drain at the bottom of the unit
In the event of the intake air temperature at the unit dropping below the predetermined set point (-5°C as standard) the supply fan will reduce to minimum speed, once the temperature rises above the set point the fan will return to its commissioned speed.
Frost protection will only activate after ten days of continuous run time.
The Nuaire AB units have a 100% summer by-Pass
If the indoor temperature Intake exceeds 25°C and the outdoor temperature is within comfort zones the summer by-pass is opened automatically to help provide a comfortable indoor temperature


The Nuaire units can be right or left-handed and correct orientation should be checked before purchase
Manufactured of powder coated galvanised steel outer cover for durability and an inside EPP lining for quietness and efficiency

An optional angled mounting bracket MRXBOX-AV2 are fitted to the bottom of the unit are available
Nuair’s First Fix box is fixed to the underside of the floor slab at first fix stage of the build. The box has four airflow chambers with optional positions for 204x60mm spigots. Ceilings can then be boarded within the cupboard space easily and quickly without the risk of the spigots not aligning to the fan unit.
