Description

Top-quality commercial heat recovery unit, vertically mounted. Each unit is individually manufactured to suit multiple applications and specifications. The Freetime range is a self-regulating dual-flow handling unit with MODBUS communication, dedicated to tertiary sector and industrial applications.

Dimensions

Models Available

• SEASON: For temperate climate zones, ideal for air circulation in buildings with energy recovery. Includes bypass summer/winter mode, adjustable flow rate via potentiometer. No self-regulation, no coil or battery.
• FIRST: Self-regulating unit for temperate climates with temperature management for optimal energy consumption and comfort. No integrated coil or battery.
• PREMIUM BE: Same as FIRST, but with an electric heater for temperatures as low as -20°C.
• PREMIUM BC: Same as FIRST, but with a hot water heater for exterior temperatures as low as -20°C.

Controllability

There are four available control options:

• Lobby: LCD controller for constant pressure fan control.
• Diva: Integral CO₂ sensor with airflow management via LCD controller.
• Mac2: Constant airflow between 2 adjustable airflows.
• Quattro: Integral CO₂ sensor for airflow modulation between 2 adjustable constant airflows.

Filtration

• 1x F7 filter on the supply air and a G4 filter on the extracted air.

Construction

• Outer Construction: Airtight 10-gauge galvanized steel double-skin panels with 25mm high-density mineral wool insulation in accordance with EN1886.
• External Face: Pre-lacquered with a protective film in RAL 7035.
• Connections: Circular branch connections with rubber seals. Airtight construction to ATEC CSTB n° 13-224-12.

Heat Exchanger

• Highly efficient aluminium rotary heat exchanger providing up to 80% heat recovery. Built for long-lasting performance.

Motors

• High-efficiency direct-drive DC motors with electronic commutation (EC), thermal protection, and built-in variable speed.
• Econological® EC technology ensures low energy consumption (RT2012).
• Low noise levels for improved acoustic comfort.

Installation

• Vertical Mounting: The unit is mounted on the floor.
• Condensate Drain: 15mm BSP metal pipe provided for connection to a drain via a waterless trap.

Insulation of Ductwork

• Recommended Ducting: Use Metal Spiral ducting and fittings for superior strength.
• For optimal airtightness and durability, use self-sealing fittings or a combination of Ducting Sealant and Aluminium Duct Sealing Tape.
• Cold Area Ducting: Ensure 25mm thick insulation with a thermal conductivity of 0.04W/(m.k) or less.
• Tip: If ducting is in a loft space, insulate to prevent condensation from forming.

• A full range of compatible ducting systems, controls, sensors, in-line silencers, and floor/wall/ceiling inlet and outlet diffusers available to complete your installation.
