Installation
- Apply duct sealant to the male fitting
- Push the bend together to secure the connection
- Cover the joint with aluminium duct sealing tape for a durable, airtight seal
Insulation of Ductwork
- Cold Areas – Ducts in colder areas (e.g., loft spaces) should be insulated with a 25mm thick layer of duct wrap to prevent condensation
- Warm Spaces – Even without loft spaces, insulated ducting should be used on intake and exhaust legs carrying cold air through warmer spaces. This can be achieved with 25mm duct wrap featuring a silver foil face over 25mm rockwool
